Workplace Mental Health
Psychosocial Risk Assessment & Management
Workplace mental health is no longer optional — it is a legal and ethical obligation for Malaysian employers. Dr. Kirath Sidhu conducts structured psychosocial risk assessments aligned with the PRisMA 2024 framework and ISO 45003 (Psychological Health and Safety at Work), helping organisations identify, evaluate, and address mental health risks before they escalate. As a certified ISO 45003 practitioner (FLOURISHdx), he brings internationally recognised standards to psychosocial risk management in Malaysian workplaces.
PRisMA 2024 + ISO 45003 implementation tools
Why PRisMA 2024? The PRisMA (Psychosocial Risk Management) 2024 framework represents the current gold standard for workplace mental health risk management — replacing older tools and aligning with DOSH Malaysia's evolving expectations for employer duty of care.

Frequently asked questions
Practical answers for HR leads, SHE managers, and clinic owners considering an engagement.
What kinds of services do you provide?
Four practice lines: medical surveillance programmes (DOSH-aligned audiometric, respiratory, heavy-metal, return-to-work assessments), psychosocial risk assessment under PRisMA 2024 (LEO26 + EPC23 + PRiMA), workplace health talks and ISO 45003 workshops, and quit-smoking consultation for individuals and employers. Most engagements combine two or three.
Are you a registered Occupational Health Doctor?
Yes. I am a DOSH-registered Occupational Health Doctor practising under ASP Medical Group in Penang. I am also a certified Psychosocial Trained Person (PTP) for PRisMA 2024 assessments and a CSCSP-certified smoking cessation counsellor.
Do you work in Penang only, or across Malaysia?
Penang is the home base, and most on-site surveillance work is delivered in the Northern region (Penang, Kedah, Perak). PRisMA assessments, ISO 45003 workshops, training delivery, and quit-coaching are available throughout Malaysia, with travel arranged per engagement. Online coaching runs worldwide.
Do you deliver on-site, remotely, or both?
Medical surveillance and on-site walk-throughs are delivered in person. Training, workshops, and the early phases of PRisMA can be hybrid. Quit-coaching is fully online over Zoom.
Are your training programmes HRDC-claimable?
Yes. I am an HRDC-certified trainer, so most workshops and training programmes are claimable against your HRDC levy. Claim documentation is provided as part of the engagement pack.
Can you support our DOSH medical surveillance reporting?
Yes. I deliver the full surveillance cycle as required under USECHH, OSH (Noise), OSH (Lead), and the new PRisMA 2024 framework — including pre-employment baselines, periodic surveillance, fitness-for-work assessments, and DOSH-compliant reporting. Documentation is auditable and aligned with the latest regulatory updates.
How do we get a quotation?
Most engagements start with a 30-minute scoping call so I can understand your workforce profile, regulatory exposure, and timing. After that I send a written scope and fee. Use the contact form to request a scoping call.
How is employee health data handled?
Individual medical records are held under doctor–patient confidentiality and never shared with the employer in identifiable form. Employers receive aggregate, anonymised reports suitable for management decisions and regulatory submission. This is the legal and ethical default for occupational health practice in Malaysia.
