PRisMA 2024 Training: The Awareness & Initiation Workshop
A 4-hour bilingual workshop that prepares your whole workforce for the PRisMA 2024 psychosocial risk assessment — what the law now requires, what LEO26 measures, and why answering it honestly is safe. The questionnaire goes out at the close of the session, so the assessment starts the same day.
Why Run an Awareness Workshop Before the Assessment?
Because the assessment is only as good as the answers employees give it.
The LEO26 screening tool asks employees how much control, pressure and support they experience at work. Employees who suspect their answers will reach their manager answer defensively, and defensive answers produce a risk picture that looks better than reality — which defeats the point of running a PRisMA assessment at all.
This workshop solves that problem before it happens. Participants learn what the OSHA 2022 Amendment requires of employers and employees, how the PRisMA framework works, and exactly what happens to their data: individual responses stay confidential under PDPA 2010, and management only ever sees work-unit results. By the time the questionnaire is distributed at the end of the session, people understand why honest answers protect them rather than expose them.
What the PRisMA Workshop Covers
Six modules across four hours, ending with the live initiation of your assessment.
Why We Are Here
The mental health landscape in Malaysia and what it costs workplaces — and the legal obligations the OSHA 2022 Amendment now places on employers and employees.
The PRisMA Framework
How DOSH's PRisMA 2024 guideline works end to end: the LEO26 screening tool, the EPC23 employer checklist, and what happens after the results come in.
The Three Dimensions
Job Control, Work Demand and Job Support — what each one means in a real workplace, with examples participants recognise from their own working week.
Confidentiality, Addressed Head-On
What PDPA 2010 protects, why no individual scores ever reach management, and why honest answers are the safe option. This module is the difference between meaningful data and noise.
Management Welfare Presentation
A structured slot where your management presents existing welfare initiatives — signalling to employees that the assessment is part of a genuine commitment, not a box-ticking exercise.
Hazard Mapping & LEO26 Distribution
A group hazard-mapping exercise brings psychosocial risks to the surface in participants' own words — then the LEO26 questionnaire is distributed to every respondent, initiating the assessment on the spot.
Format & Delivery
Designed to fit a single working morning.
One Morning
Four hours of training plus a 15-minute break — typically 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, on your premises.
Everyone Attends
Built for all employees, supervisors, managers, HR personnel and OSH committee members — the same session, the same understanding.
Bilingual Delivery
English and Bahasa Malaysia in the same session, so the production floor and the boardroom hear the same message.
Up to 30 Per Session
Capped for genuine engagement. Larger workforces run multiple sessions, scheduled work unit by work unit.
Pair the workshop with your PRisMA assessment
Workshop, LEO26 collection, work-unit reporting and the PRiMA action plan — one engagement, one trainer-assessor, HRD Corp claimable.
Request a QuoteWho Delivers It
The trainer is also the assessor — which is the point.
The workshop is delivered by Dr. Kirath Sidhu (Dr. Harkirath Singh Harbans Singh): registered Occupational Health Doctor, DOSH-certified Psychosocial Trained Person (Reg. PTP-291/26), and HRD Corp Registered Trainer. Because the person training your workforce is the same person who will run the assessment process, nothing is lost in handover — the confidentiality commitments made in the room are kept by the person who made them.
Frequently Asked Questions About PRisMA Training
Is the PRisMA awareness workshop HRDC claimable?
Yes. The PRisMA Awareness and Initiation Workshop is an HRD Corp claimable programme delivered by an HRD Corp Registered Trainer, so Malaysian employers can offset the cost through their HRDC levy.
Is the workshop required before a PRisMA assessment?
It is not a legal requirement, but it is how the assessment starts well. The workshop addresses confidentiality concerns under PDPA 2010 and builds the confidence to answer LEO26 honestly — and the questionnaire is distributed to all participants at the close of the session, so the assessment begins the same day.
What language is the workshop delivered in?
Bilingual — English and Bahasa Malaysia in the same session, so production-floor teams and management can attend together.
How many employees can attend each session?
Up to 30 participants per session for meaningful engagement. Larger workforces run multiple sessions, typically scheduled across consecutive days, work unit by work unit.
